Kuwait has updated its permit-to-work requirements for high-risk activities including hot work, confined space entry, working at height, and energy isolation. All permits must now be digitally issued and tracked through an approved electronic system. Paper-based permits will no longer be accepted after December 2026. Companies must designate a competent permit authority and maintain records for a minimum of 5 years.
